Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be in title, eligible for 70.1 transfer, or reachable on the Civil Service Eligible List. Provisional appointment may be considered. Provisional candidates will be required to take an exam. There are no minimum education or experience requirements for this exam. However, for those who pass the written test, prior to being considered for appointment, you will be required to pass a keyboarding test that demonstrates your ability to enter text at a rate of at least 30 words per minute with at least 96% accuracy.
Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This person is the primary receptionist for the Talent Development and Training Office.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Answering and directing telephone calls
• Collecting, and distributing mail
• Data entry in SLMS, and on various spreadsheets
• Run audits of training records
• Maintenance of registrations and email correspondence regarding classes
• Equipment reservations
• Creating Webex sessions for New Employee Orientation
• SLMS class creation for New Employee Orientation
• Providing training records to staff as needed
• Copying and assembly of training material packets, folders and manuals as needed
• Filing as needed
• Classroom set up
• Preparation of signage and sign in sheets daily
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent communication and organization skills. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
