Minimum Qualifications In title Treatment Team Leader, Grade M-1
–OR –
Eligible for a 70.1 or 52.6 transfer by way of current permanent status in a title deemed comparable to Treatment Team Leader by the Department of Civil Service [must also be within two S-grades or one M-grade of grade M-1 (25)]

Duties Description RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES to include but not limited to:

Oversight of State Provided Residential Services
• Maintain fully trained direct support staffing to meet individuals’ health and safety needs and provide habilitative services to support valued outcomes.
• Ensure review of the overall service plans to ensure that individual protections and community inclusion needs are fully addressed.
• Ensure timely investigations, including allegations of abuse and serious reportable incidents, and insure protective responses for identified areas of risk.
• Supervise clinical team to ensure that regulatory, fiscal, and person-first standards are met.
• Ensure the provision of necessary medical and clinical services.
• Assure fire safety in state operated programs.
• Monitor both personal service and non-personal service budgets, and maintenance needs.
• Serve as DDSO Administrator on Duty, requiring periodic 24-hour on call and on site supervisory responsibility; must also be available to take emergency calls and provide management oversight and support for the county team on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Completes special duties as assigned.

• CAPA: Must be cleared by the NYS Central Register for Child Abuse and Maltreatment, if position requires working with minors and not previously cleared.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
