Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable for appointment from the current Civil Service eligible list for the title

Candidates must have permanent competitive status in the posted title and be eligible for transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in an advancement of more than two salary grades

In the event that there is not a valid eligible list, candidates who meet the following promotion qualifications may be qualified for a provisional appointment. To qualify, candidates must have one year of permanent or contingent permanent service as a Standards Compliance Analyst 2 (Developmental Disabilities), grade 23.
Duties Description Under the direction of the Division of Quality Improvement (DQI) Statewide BPC Director, the Standards Compliance Analyst (SCA) 3 (Developmental Disabilities) will:
· Provide supervision to field staff, SCAs 1 and 2 (DD), on an ongoing basis while in the field and in the office.
· Review and approve materials resulting from field reviews for accuracy and to ensure documents are consistent with regulatory requirements and Bureau policies and procedures.
· Oversee personnel functions for SCAs 1 and 2 (DD).
· Provide team caseload management.
· Assign complaint investigations to appropriate staff.
· Serve on multiple committees.
· Present at various in-service training venues including regularly scheduled DQI/Bureau of Program Certification provider trainings.
· Meet with agency boards of directors.
· Maintain ongoing contact with local DDSOs regarding a variety of topics, including facility and service development projects.
