Duties Description Based at the Syracuse State Office Building, the incumbent will work independently without direct on-site supervision with primary duties which will include:

Provide treatment of both occupational and non-occupational illness and injury NYS Employees utilizing DCS guidelines

Travel to offsite clinics throughout the State, including Central and Western New York is to be expected at a rate of 25-40%.

Conducting medical diagnostic tests using a variety of equipment, including blood pressure cuffs, vision machine (ortho-rater), hearing machine, electrocardiography (ECG) machine, and spirometer (pulmonary).

Performing phlebotomy, calibrating and adjusting instruments, and recording test results independently.

Obtaining urine samples for drug testing, including a chain of custody forms, and assisting with the packaging of blood specimens.
