Salary RangeFrom $33631 to $41555 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Possession of a valid New York State drivers license appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated, and possess a clean Driving Abstract Record. Class C drivers license is preferred, but not required.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidate must be highly motivated and possess excellent communication, interpersonal, critical thinking and organizational skills.
Duties Description The Motor Vehicle Operator (MVO) is responsible for the transportation of our residents who meet certain financial criteria to outside medical appointments; responsible for maintaining accurate transportation record keeping for monthly reporting to Albany. In the absence of transporting residents, the MVO will assist in the Maintenance Department as needed for general maintenance repairs throughout the facility; will assist with snow removal, assist with the mechanical upkeep of equipment; and all other duties deemed necessary for the operation of the Department.
Additional Comments Extended hours, overtime and/or alternate work schedule may be required, depending on resident appointments. Base salary plus an additional annual location pay of $3,026
