Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES: As an Office Assistant 3 you may be responsible for supervising clerical
staff engaged in processing, recording, maintaining and reviewing electronic and/or paper
documents. You would apply specific legislation, laws and regulations and unique work
procedures to provide services to the public or program staff; provide advice to and otherwise
assist supervisors in planning, organizing, scheduling, and coordinating work operations and
procedures; respond in writing or by telephone to inquiries from other units, agencies or the
public concerning the operations of the section; periodically prepare narrative and statistical
reports; and ensure that staff is adequately trained.
