Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:

As a Safety and Health Program Manager 2 in the Division of Safety and Health, the incumbent under the general direction of the Director of Safety and Health, the Safety and Health Program Manager 2 will:

• Plan, direct, administer and supervise the Statewide activities of the Program.
• Coordinate work assignments, administer fee collections, prepare reports, monitor program activities, investigate complaints, recommend policy and procedure based on program review, set standards.
• Represent the Commission of Labor or the Division Director at meetings.

Additional Comments IMPORTANT: All Department of Labor employees are required to be tested weekly for COVID-19 unless they are fully vaccinated. Employees who are vaccinated must provide proof of vaccine status through a secure online portal.

NOTE: As this position requires travel, the appointee must have a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State and have a motor vehicle or otherwise demonstrate their capacity to meet the transportation needs of the position.
