70.1 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: One year of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service in a title Salary Grade 13 or higher determined to be similar by Civil Service.

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:

As an Administrative Assistant 2 assigned to DOL Human Resources, you will work independently and be responsible for providing administrative and office support to the Director of Personnel and the Personnel Office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide a high level of customer service to Agency Staff and outside parties
• Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence, prepare tables, charts, and miscellaneous reports
• Maintain scheduling and event calendars
• Administer Personal History Folder (PHF) review requests
• Manage records archiving process
• Work with agency Ethics Officer on Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE) compliance
• Prepare various documents as needed for the Director and Assistant Directors
• Process various agency wide Personnel reports
• Monitor DOL employees inactive email accounts
• Process Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests and dual employment verifications
• Serve as back up for other support staff
• Perform other duties assigned
