Duties Description "The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the office services functions within the Operations Management Group. OMG is a service bureau which supports the staff and programs of the Department of Health, including coordination of all aspects of leased and State-owned office space, coordination of tagging inventory and processing of DOH funded equipment, managing the Corning Tower’s Tenant Safety Organization (TSO), Administrative Policy and Procedure Manual (APPM), parking coordination in conjunction with OGS, processing of mail, records retention, oversight and development of DOH forms, security and distribution of DOH ID cards, visitor management system administration of state vehicles, overseeing and identifying occupational hazards along with the safety procedures and protocols incorporated into work practices, oversees the development of agency safety and health policies and strategies for implementing safety and health regulations, along with knowledge of and the ability to contribute to collective bargaining agreement provisions affecting safety and health within a variety of work locations.
In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for a variety of the services offered within OMG such as APPM updates, Security ID issuance, lease management, TSO administration, SFS duties such as procurement and payments and space planning/utilization along with other functions as assigned."
