Preferred Experience:
5 years of experience with business systems, processes, and procedures. At least 2 years of experience developing high level communication documents and presenting to internal and external stakeholders.

Duties Description The Motor Vehicle Program Manager 1 provides support in monitoring, tracking, and influencing the successful completion of priorities of the Commissioner and is generally responsible for administrative functions of Commissioner’s Office.
Additional Comments Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Coordinate and track initiatives, projects, and activities on behalf of the Commissioner – compile summaries and provide status reports as required
• Manage the planning and implementation of special initiatives as requested
• Communicate with various stakeholders (for example, local state and federal agencies, vendors, industry partners, ITS, state and county run issuing offices, various DMV business units, DMV Executive Management, Office of the Deputy Secretary for Transportation, etc.) on policy and procedural issues as necessary to complete assignments
• Manage executive correspondence and communication functions in accordance with timeliness and quality standards
• Coordinate all internal and external scheduling for the Commissioner’s Office
• Supervise other staff as needed including interns
