Minimum Qualifications Interested candidates must be reachable on the Program Aide eligible list or eligible to transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
To be eligible for a 70.1 transfer to a Program Aide, SG – 13, a candidate must have one year of competitive service in a qualifying title allocated to a salary grade 11 or higher.
Duties Description Major Activity: Justice Court Fund Processing
Estimated percentage of time spent on this activity: 85%
1. Review, evaluate and analyze monthly reports and records
· Utilize computerized systems to review monthly justice reports and determine the distribution of collected revenues based on established laws, rules, regulations guidelines, and procedures
· Assist in revenue distribution processes for other monthly reporting
· Evaluate data for deficiencies
o Review justice reports, electronic report files, schedules and certifications for completeness and accuracy
o Assist in post processing reviews of monthly justice reports to verify proper revenue distribution and identify needed prior period corrections
· Assist in ensuring compliance with reporting and processing requirements
· Assist in information gathering and data analysis to support program operations and unit initiatives.
2. Communicate with various individuals to field questions, elicit and convey information, and resolve issues:
· As needed, contact external parties to obtain information and documentation to perform such tasks as determining monthly report distributions and obtaining support for report adjustments.
· Respond to customer questions on proper reporting and requirements.
· Collaborate with work unit supervisors and staff to resolve reporting and processing issues
3. Collect and analyze data and prepare reports
· Analyze delinquent report data and unit records to determine non-compliance with statutory justice reporting requirements.
· Compile final delinquent justice report data and prepare monthly delinquent filing notification and reports as required by unit policy and procedure.
· Coordinate and verify compilation of data and records for dissemination of information requests from justice oversight agencies

· Provide assistance to customers, following unit guidelines and procedures
· Examine customer inquiries and assist in prompt response and resolution.
· Maintain records, correspondence, documents, and materials, pursuant to unit requirements.
· Prepare correspondence, documents, reports, and other written material to support unit programs.
