Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable for appointment on the current Civil Service Eligible List, Professional Careers Opportunity (PCO) or OPWDD's Central Office Public Administration Traineeship Transition (PATT). Appointment will be made at the traineeship level.

Transfer: Candidates must have permanent competitive status in the posted title and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in an advancement of more than two salary grades.
Duties Description Assist regional Revenue Support Field Offices in researching and monitoring financial benefit programs; prepare directives and correspondence detailing program information;
· Assist regional Revenue Support Field Offices with billing account management; including reporting to management, supervisors and subject matter experts to address inefficiencies and complicated issues;
· Serve on workgroups, committees or teams to assist in developing policy and procedures and present procedural proposals for consideration by management;
· Assist individuals and advocates for individuals with DD with specific financial benefit problems;
· Function as RSFO systems administrator for Medicaid systems;
· Create, update and present training materials on financial benefit programs to the RSFOs, DDROs, DDSOOs and nonprofit agency staff;
· Serve as liaison to outside agencies, including DDRROs, nonprofit agencies, OTDA, LDSSes, as well as other OPWDD units;
