Minimum Qualifications Must be reachable on the Professional Career Opportunities (PCO) eligible list with or Public Administration Traineeship Transition Program (PATT) eligible list.

Duties Description Under the direction of the Contract Management Specialist 2, the selected candidate will have primary responsibility for managing Concession contracts statewide. The incumbent will develop and assist with the development and / or negotiation of contracts, Request For Proposals (RFP's) and other related financial documents; provide guidance, technical assistance and training to agency staff and/or potential bidder(s) to facilitate the contract and procurement process, ensuring all control requirements are met; perform on-site and central reviews of contract implementation and performance; propose changes to existing program guidelines or, as assigned, assist in the development of new guidelines; assist with special projects; and respond to Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests for bids and other contract requests, State legislative and audit inquiries.

Additional Comments The position may eventually require occasional overnight travel and the selected candidate will be required to work independently.
