Minimum Qualifications CLINICAL PHYSICIAN 1/SG-34 (Non-Competitive; only for DOCCS)
Open-competitive minimum qualifications: possession of a license and current registration to practice medicine in New York State.
&
CLINICAL PHYSICIAN 2/SG-36 (Non-Competitive; only for DOCCS)
Minimum qualifications for promotion: one year of service as a Clinical Physician 1, and possession of a license and current registration to practice medicine in New York State.

Open-competitive minimum qualifications: possession of a license and current registration to practice medicine in New York State and two years of post-licensure medical experience.

Duties Description Provide general medical care and treatment to our inmate population.
