Minimum Qualifications DENTAL HYGIENIST/SG-12
Minimum qualifications for taking the open-competitive examination: Must have a license to practice as a Dental Hygienist in New York State.

Duties Description As a Dental Hygienist, you would perform any of the allowable services in accordance with Section 6606 of the New York State Education Law, under the supervision of a licensed dentist. You would perform oral examinations, and oral prophylactic work, and assist a dentist office or clinic located at a state operated facility. Most appointments will be made to full-time positions.

Some positions may require additional credentials or a background check to verify your identity.
