Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Transfer Eligibility Requirement: You must have a current permanent appointment with a minimum of 1 year of service in a position of the same title or transferable title.
Reassignment Requirement: You must hold the same title at the University at Buffalo.
Reinstatement Requirement: You must be a former state employee to request reinstatement to the title that was held (or transferable title).

Duties Description Position Summary:
The Department of Academic Affairs at the School of Dental Medicine seeks to fill a full time Office Assistant 1 position to assist with and perform the following duties:
• Evaluate and certify student and alumnus eligibility for state and national licensure examinations
• Review all requests for student letters, verifications, academic standing and various form requests from students and alumni
• Order department office supplies, submit expense reports, and balance monthly statements
• Assist with HUB, Credentials, Student Clearinghouse to perform daily activities for Academic Affairs
• Provide back-up assistance to Registrar
• Assist with commencement planning and preparations and the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs on various projects
• Prepare Curriculum Committee and CODA meeting minutes and agendas; update committee participants on action items
• Verify National Clearinghouse requests
• Process Credential requests
• Audit transcripts each semester
• Work closely with supervisor to ensure students are on track for graduation
