Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Possession of a license and current registration to practice medicine in New York State.
Minimum Qualifications for Open Competitive Appointment: Possession of a license and current registration to practice medicine in New York State and two years of post-licensure medical experience.

Duties Description Independently diagnoses, treats, prescribes, and provides general medical care and treatment services for Incarcerated Individuals. Also, reviews/updates medical histories/records, conducts physical exams/tests as needed. Works with other agencies to coordinate care/tests. Assists in development, implementation and revision of clinical policies and procedures. Provide clinical supervision and guidance to other medical providers.
