Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Possession of a license and current registration to practice medicine in New York State and two years of post-licensure medical experience or one year of service in a Clinical Physician 1, and possession of a license and current registration to practice medicine in NYS.

Duties Description Independently diagnoses, treats, prescribes, and provides general medical care and treatment services for incarcerated Individuals. Also, reviews/updates medical histories/records, conducts physical exams/tests as needed. Works with other agencies to coordinate care/tests. Assists in development, implementation and revision of clinical policies and procedures. Provide clinical supervision and guidance to other medical providers. May manage and supervise medical services for an assigned facility, unit, or progra,.
