Job Specifics

Duties Description Collects and empties trash and recycling in accordance tasks or other assigned areas in state facilities, including living, treatment, classroom, and/or administrative work areas. Assembles cleaning carts according to assigned tasks and prepares, mixes, and dilutes cleaning solutions following manufacturer directions. Washes floors, corridors, stairwells, walls, partitions, windowsills, using mops, detergents, brushes and other cleaning devices.

Minimum Qualifications There are no education or experience requirements for this class. Cleaners must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
