Job Specifics

Duties Description The Cleaner will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
-Remove debris on floors, furniture and equipment and place them in designated receptacles or in appropriate places.
-Move furniture and equipment in connection with cleaning and care functions.
-Bag and remove trash and place in dumpsters.
-Use mops, brushes, detergents, buffers, floor scrubbers and other cleaning implements to wash floors, corridors, stairs and stairwells, walls, partitions, windows from the inside of the building.
-Strip, vacuum and wax floors, as well as shampoos carpets utilizing any necessary equipment.
-Scrub and clean all areas of lavatories, such as sinks, urinals, toilets, etc.
-Dust assigned areas using any required equipment.
-Polish wood and metal fixtures and equipment.
-Additional cleaning associated with special events or renovations.

Minimum Qualifications -Must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.
