Job Specifics

Duties Description The New York State Unified Court System is seeking a Court Building Guard in the Court of Appeals in Albany, NY.

Assignment: Court of Appeals Hall, 20 Eagle Street, Albany, New York 4pm to 12pm (Midnight) Saturday through Wednesday

Court Building Guards work in the Court of Appeals and are primarily responsible for
ensuring building security after regular business hours. They also provide front-desk and reception support, perform delivery and messenger tasks, direct incoming calls and messages, and perform other related duties.

Court Building Guards conduct routine and periodic rounds to inspect the facilities for safety and security during their shift.

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or the equivalent; and Possession of a valid New York State Driver's License.

Note: Successful completion of the New York State Security Guard Basic Course (8hr.) within six months after hiring is required.

Some positions may require additional credentials or a background check to verify your identity.
