Job Specifics

Duties Description Under supervision of RN, would be involved in the treatment of inmates. You would administer medications and injections; perform tube feedings; hang IV's; collect blood samples if certified, provide colostomy care; observe patients and report changes; take and record vital signs and perform other medical procedures as ordered by a physician. Prepare and apply simple dressings.

Minimum Qualifications License and current registration to practice as a practical nurse in NYS or a limited permit to practice as a practical nurse in NYS.
