Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Must have a license to practice medicine in New York State and in possession of an M.D., M.B.B.S., or D.O. degree; and have completed one year of post graduate training acceptable to the Liaison Committee on Graduate Medical Education of the American Medical Association and have had two years of subsequent medical experience.

Duties Description Evaluation and treatment of patients daily. Provision of emergency services 24 hours daily, as scheduled. Care of special housing unit patients. Manage and supervise nurse practitioner, physician assistants to ensure that they provide professional and adequate health care at all times. Maintenance, improvement of knowledge, skill required for practice of correctional system medicine. Compliance with infection control procedures fro the HUB. Compliance with time and attendance standards of Institutional Practice Plan (IPP).

Additional Comments Salary included a $20,000 Geographic Pay Differential.
