Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Promotional minimum qualifications: Must be a qualified employee of New York State and have had permanent competitive of 55-b/55-c services as follows: three months as a Dentist 1 or 2.

Fir appointment: one year as a Dentist 1 or 2.

Open-competitive minimum qualifications: Possession of a valid license and registration to practice dentistry in New York State; AND three years of full-time post licensure dentistry experience, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity in a dental health setting.

Duties Description Perform professional dental services; as a general dental practitioner, incumbents perform the fill range of professional dental tasks in connection with the diagnosis and treatment of dental diseases, injuries and malfunctions of teeth and gums as prescribed by agency policy and procedures.
