Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Must have three years of satisfactory experience in a large commercial or institutional laundry, one year of when must have been as a lead worker or serving in a supervisory capacity over employees, inmates or clients/consumers.

Duties Description Supervise inmates processing an average of 40 to 150 dry tons of laundry per month. Cleaning and maintenance of washers/dryers, process facility linen, towels and sheets for the general population, Special Housing Unit and the Infirmary. Must maintain written daily production records, maintain proper detergent/chemical inventory and sanitation and safety standards in the laundry area. Training of inmate workers, handling of payroll and evaluations must be completed.
