Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Licensure and current registration in New York State as a licensed master social worker and one year of post-licensure social work experience.

Duties Description Perform the full range of social worker tasks consistent with the scope of practice of a licensed master social worker as defined by New York State Education Law Article 154. Incumbents deal with the more challenging individuals who exhibit serious and/or complicated mental, social, emotional, behavioral, developmental and addictive disorders, conditions and disabilities. Additionally, positions in this class may provide administrative supervision to licensed master social workers 1 and to lower0level paraprofessional staff involved in case management and other treatment and program support tasks that do not require licensure as a licensed master social worker or licensed clinical social worker.
