Duties Description SUNY Delhi seeks a dynamic, forward-thinking, and engaging Student Financial Services Assistant. SUNY Delhi prides itself on being a welcoming college community for all. The Student Financial Services Assistant will be an integral professional within the fast-paced Student Financial Services department. The position responsibilities will focus on the certification of all NYS financial aid programs, as well as the processing/certification of various other Student Financial Services functions. The successful candidate will be well versed in NYS and federal financial aid regulations and student eligibility. Additionally, they will have the technical ability to manage and maintain the supporting systems and software, and respond to complex problems and inquiries.
Expectations include:
•Proven proficiency in technology, and the systems/software to process and certify aid.
•Working knowledge of NYS and federal financial aid programs and regulations.
•Ability to research regulatory information and resolve financial inquiries.
•Meticulous attention to detail and time management skills.
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Comments •This is a full-time, 12-month position
•Salary: $48,500 - $50,000 commensurate with experience
•Reports to: Student Financial Services Director
•Budget Title: Senior Staff Assistant, SL3
