Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Teacher 2: Current New York State Education Department provision/initial certification in classroom teaching in the appropriate specialty.

Teacher 3: Current New York State Education Department permanent/professional certification in classroom teacher in the appropriate specialty.

Teacher 4: Current New York State Education Department permanent/professional certification in classroom teaching in the appropriate specialty and two years of post-certification (provisional/initial or permanent/professional) teaching experience in that same specialty.

Duties Description As this class is full, this critical item is for the ABE teaching position. This important class is for waitlisted inmates who need this skill to continue their education.

Additional Comments The appointee to this position will work 32 hours per week.
