Minimum Qualifications "Permanent transfer candidates: Current Department of Health (DOH) employee with permanent or contingent-permanent status as a Health Program Administrator (G18); OR current NYS employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent, competitive service in a title eligible to transfer under Section 52.6, Section 70.1, or Section 70.4 of the Civil Service Law to a Health Program Administrator (G18), Health Program Administrator Trainee 1 (NS), or Health Program Administrator Trainee 2 (NS). Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate would have strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with the NYS recruitment/hiring process; be able to handle multiple diverse tasks and would have strong organizational skills and attention to detail; be able to work independently as well as part of a team in planning and implementing work-related activities; and have a high level of competence using the following: Statewide Financial System, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Word.

Duties Description This position will provide support to operations with-in the Administrative Management Services Group. Employee would be tasked with contract management, procurement, and financial analysis. Position would help support waiver requests and tracking of OPCHSM staff. They would help support functioning of activities throughout OPCHSM. They would be tasked with COVID activities including but not limited to recruitment of staff, tracking active COVID assignments, and would be involved with helping to facilitate vaccine communication. May perform additional duties as needed.
