Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Posession of or eligibility for a New York State license to practice as a registered professional nurse in New York State.

Duties Description Works under the supervision of a higher level nurse or licensed medical professional. Administers medications to individuals an monitors for reactions, records vitals, monitors symptoms and changed in conditions. Conduct health assessments, diagnoses and treats individuals to actual, potential or diagnosed heal problems though the provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and wellbeing; and execute medical regime prescribed by a licensed health care provider. Nurses also serve in interdisciplinary health care teams and health related committees to plan and implement health care.
