Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications There are no education or experience requirements. Candidates must have physical ability to perform work consisting of light or medium to heavy physical labor. When required to operate motor vehicles, candidates must possess a valid New York Sate driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated.

Duties Description The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets is accepting employment applications for temporary employment. The number, duration and work hours of the positions vary by assignment. All positions are located on the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, New York.

State Fair Workers perform manual tasks, including grounds work, cleaning, parking, and maintenance services as members of a work crew for events held on the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse.

Some positions may require additional credentials or a background check to verify your identity.
