Minimum Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and three years of experience in administrative support**, which includes use of office software (e.g., email, word processing), provision of customer service, business writing, and management of an office.
**Certification (e.g., IAAP Certified Administrative Professional), diploma, or Associate’s degree in office administration, secretarial science, administrative assistance, paralegal, business technology, or office technology substitutes for two years of experience.

Duties Description The Administrative Assistant II reports to and provides high-level support to the Vice President for Student Affairs (SA). The SA division is comprised of ten departments across two campuses (Utica and Albany). The Administrative Assistant II also provides support for the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management (EM), which is comprised of five departments across the two campuses.
Manage daily office functions to include maintaining schedules, organizing meetings and scheduling travel, compiling reports and records maintenance, monitoring budgets, review communication/correspondence for action and distribution, responding to divisional emails and coordinate/support projects and initiatives for the SA and EM areas.
Assist other members of the college’s leadership team with projects and daily support on an as needed basis. Position requires a high degree of independent judgment, autonomy, confidentiality and flexibility. Other reasonable duties as assigned.
