Minimum Qualifications Four years of full-time experience in a trade under a skilled trades-person which would provide training equivalent to that given in a training, apprenticeship, or equivalent program; or an equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of technical courses in skilled trades at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services.
Duties Description Perform maintenance and rehabilitation at the Sherburne Sub-Office and Rogers Environmental Education Center. Will be required to operate light and heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently. Plumbing, electrical, and carpentry experience required. Must demonstrate a working knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
Additional Comments Use of personal protection equipment, including respirator, will be required. Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain and work in remote areas. Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions. Travel, overnight and overtime may be required. Weekends and holidays may be required. Must be available for emergency response. Must be available to respond to after-hours emergencies. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
This is a seasonal, hourly appointment with a duration through 03/31/2023. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date, which may be prior to date listed. Actual work schedule, duties and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at interview.
