Salary RangeFrom $79325 to $100334 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
• Five years of application development experience
• Two or more years of experience designing websites or web application screens.
• Two or more years of experience using CSS preprocessors such as SASS/SCSS, LESS, or Stylus
• Two or more years of experience creating front-end components or widgets following an AMD (require), CJS (commonJS), or ES (ECMAScript) format.
• Two or more years of experience designing screens using the e-MPIRE framework
• Two or more years of experience designing screens using the eCore framework
The following degrees may substitute for the general experience as indicated:
• Associate’s degree and four years of experience
• Associate’s degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and three years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and two years of experience
• Master’s degree in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional year of experience
• Doctorate in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional 2 years of experience
Duties Description Under the direction of an upper level Project Coordinator, within the Chief Technology Office – Business Application Services – DTF Modernization, supporting the Department of Taxation Finance (DTF), the position will provide leadership for the DTF Modernization effort and support for maintenance activities.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Provide lead programming duties for tax-related applications.
• Develop and mentor staff using various technologies.
• Develop and review detailed documentation for system and program change requirements, including detailed specifications documents.
• Analyze requested enhancements and determine an impact analysis on the system.
• Assist and provide guidance through all phases of the project management life cycle.
• Develop and review detailed design documentation such as HTML mockups and screen matrices.
• Develop unit test plans based on coding changes and user specifications. Conduct unit testing and debugging of all code changes in the development environment.
• Coordinate the migration of all code changes (programs, procedures, etc.) from the development environment into the user test environment.
• Assist team members using technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Provide support, as needed, for defects and issue resolution. Ensure that defects and issues are addressed promptly based on priority.
• Facilitate and participate in meetings with ITS and DTF customers.
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with DTF management and users, ITS management, and team members.
• Perform all supervisory responsibilities.
Additional Comments Salary: To be determined, commensurate with experience.
