Minimum Qualifications Education Level required: College degree preferred or substitute: some college with additional relevant experience working with executive leadership.
Relevant experience required: 3+ years’ relevant experience.
Ability to work independently; exercise excellent judgment & discretion and maintain confidentiality;
Excellent follow up and project tracking skills.
High proficiency computer skills in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
Ability to work successfully as part of a team a must.
Duties Description BASIC FUNCTION:
Assist the Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the President & CEO/ Commissioner with day-to-day administrative support and operations of the Executive Office; provide support on program implementation and other agency priorities; draft and prepare briefings for the President & CEO/ Commissioner.
• Provides support on agency priorities, including research, note taking and preparing material.
• Researches, drafts and prepares briefings for the President & CEO/Commissioner, including for events and meetings.
• Supports internal agency communications, including drafting messages from the President & CEO/Commissioner.
• Assists the Executive Office team with administrative support, including managing meetings, completing expense reports and budgeting, composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; and arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; plus back- up for Executive Assistant.
