Minimum Qualifications Four years of satisfactory full-time experience working under a skilled journey-level HVAC tradesman which would provide training equivalent to that given in an apprenticeship program. Apprentice training in the HVAC/refrigeration trade or training gained by the completion of technical courses at a school or institute may be substituted for the above experience on a year-for-year basis. Appropriate EPA Freon Certification is required. Automobile certifications are not acceptable.
It is desirable that candidates have some experience in other recognized skilled trades such as electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
Additional Comments Selected candidate will be required to obtain a CDL permit within 30 days of appointment and must obtain a CDL B license as a condition of satisfactory completion of the probation period.
A location pay differential of $1.51 per hour is included in quoted base salary.
This position belongs to the Teamsters Bargaining Unit.
