Preferred Qualifications: The applicant should be able to work independently and be able to handle multiple assignments. In addition, an applicant should possess good organizational skills and be able to work cooperatively in a team-based environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in a range of digital tools, for example, Microsoft Excel or Visio, websites, Outlook, Teams, or other calendaring tools.

Duties Description The Health Program Administrator Trainee will support the Bureau of Data Programs, Policy & Planning in the Center for Health Care Innovation. The selected candidate will assist the Bureau with a variety of administrative functions including reviewing and organizing data requests and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, monitoring data submitter compliance, supporting contract management, vouchering, and procurements. The HPA Trainee will also support Bureau communication and outreach by publishing materials to SharePoint sites, APD portal, DOH Public Web Pages and responding to email inquiries. The Center for Health Care Innovation is advancing health care transformation by developing the Department’s capability to support population-based decision making into the challenges of access, quality, and affordability. The Center is focused on the collecting, maintaining and enabling the access and appropriate use of health care data to support a broad range of stakeholders and use cases allowing for the monitoring of efforts to improve quality of care, conduct population health research and reduce health care costs.
