Minimum Qualifications CURRENT STATE EMPLOYEES:
Current New York State employee with one year or more of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service in a position allocated to a Salary Grade 11 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 52.6, 70.1, or 70.4** of the Civil Service Law.
**70.4 Transfer: Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service at the SG-11 or above AND possession of a bachelor’s degree; AND standing on the Professional Careers Opportunities (PCO) or Public Administration Traineeship Transition (PATT) eligible lists.
PCO Appointment: Individuals with a score of 100 or above on the Professional Career Opportunities (PCO) eligible list are encouraged to apply.*
*Successful completion of two-year traineeship leads to appointment as a Contract Management Specialist 1, SG-18.

Successful completion of two-year traineeship leads to appointment as a Contract Management Specialist 1, SG-18.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NYS Financial System - SFS and Grants Gateway; as well as experience in the field of domestic violence service provision.
Duties Description Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Oversee the agency contract portfolio including the Enough is Enough program and the NYS Domestic and Sexual Violence Hotline.
• Guide and assist with agency spending through appropriate control systems and/or agencies including OSC, DOB, and SFS.
• Perform routine administrative duties associated with agency contracts, reviews contractor performance and compliance.
• Monitor tasks including addressing any necessary contract modifications.
• Assist with publishing of contract and procurement requirements for bidders.
• Develop, evaluate and/or review contracts, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Invitation for Bids (IFBs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQ’s), Requests for Information (RFI’s), Requests for Application (RFA’s), Sole/Single Source Procurements, and other related financial documents.
