Salary RangeFrom $54903 to $69882 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Minimum qualifications for taking the open competitive examination: must be licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York State AND have one year of full-time post-RN licensure clinical nursing experience.
Duties Description Provide direct nursing care to Incarcerated Individuals (I/I's) which include health assessments, diagnose/treat or respond to actual, potential, or diagnosed health problems when they arise. Assist with examinations/treatments as needed. Administer medications as prescribed. Provides health teaching/counseling as needed. Maintains and updates charts for each patient when seen. Monitors inventories of supplies.

Salary includes $20,000 geographic pay for day shift, $35,000 geographic pay for evening and overnight shift, as well as $3,620 shift pay for evening shift and $4,500 shift pay for overnight shift.
