Minimum Qualifications Experience:

Five (5) years of responsible management, administrative or supervisory experience in the health services field including two (2) years as manager of one or more of the following areas functioning in support of clinical or treatment services: budget, fiscal, human resource management, affirmative action, information systems management, or support services in a general hospital, community mental health center, health care facility or a facility or agency providing services to people diagnosed with mental illness or developmental disabilities.

AND

Education:

A Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university or one recognized by the NYS Education Department as following acceptable educational standards in hospital, health care, public or business administration or a related field.

OR

Experience:

Seven (7) years of the experience described above including three (3) years as a manager as described above.

AND

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university or one recognized by the NYS Education Department as following acceptable educational standards.

Duties Description Under the general direction of the Executive Director of RPC and RCPC, the incumbent will have responsibility for the day-to-day development and direction of administrative management services (human resources, fiscal services and support services) of RPC and RCPC. The DDPC 2 – Administration, as part of the management team, assists the Executive Director and provides administrative leadership; implements facility policies; interprets policy guidelines and monitors the effectiveness of these policies and ensures Joint Commission and CMS standards for Administrative Services are met.

Additional Comments Rockland Psychiatric Center (RPC) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Deputy Director, Psychiatric Center 2 (DDPC 2) – Administration, M-6. The DDPC 2 – Administration oversees administrative management services for RPC and Rockland Children’s Psychiatric Center (RCPC), both located in Orangeburg, New York. RPC and RCPC provide a full range of quality outpatient and inpatient services to adults and children covering Rockland, Westchester, Orange, Putnam, Ulster, Dutchess and Sullivan Counties. This network offers an array of clinical, social, residential, vocational, educational and case management services. RPC shares a multi-service campus with other state and voluntary agencies. Background and Investigative Fees:
