Salary RangeFrom $31870 to $39423 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Current Department of Health employee with permanent or contingent-permanent competitive status as an Office Assistant 1 (Keyboarding), G6, OR a NYS employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive service in a title at or above a G4 and eligible to transfer to Office Assistant 1 (Keyboarding), G6, under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
Duties Description Receive incoming complaints regarding physicians, physician assistants and specialist assistants. Review written complaints for completeness and log information into statewide investigations management system (itrak). Handle telephone calls and visitors and respond to questions according to OPMC guidelines, including from the state call center and respond to questions. Scanning and electronic and paper filing. Other duties as required.
Additional Comments Prior to being considered for appointment, you will be required to pass a keyboarding test that demonstrates your ability to enter text at a rate of at least 30 words per minute with at least 96% accuracy
