Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Must have at least 3 years experience in a Network Administrator role.
Bachelor's degree plus at least 3 years IT experience, or Associates degree with at least 5 years IT experience, or if no degree then equivalent experience in the field.
Preferred skills:
Microsoft Server operating systems (OS) 2008 - 2016, Windows (OS) 7 - 10, Office 365, Active Directory management, NetApp SAN/NAS, Cisco and Dell Switches and Routers, Dell Server Hardware, Cat 6 cabling, UPS appliances, VMware 6.0 +, VMware VDI solutions and PowerShell, Veritas and Veeam Backup Software, printer configuration.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people at both a functional and technical level and communicate at a level appropriate to audience.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties Description General description:
Install, configure, and maintain the Local Area Network (LAN) devices and software supporting the Chamber’s critical business functions, user community and Data Center. Oversee network connectivity to all Chamber office locations and the Wide Area Network (WAN). Troubleshoot and resolve network related issues, optimize network throughput, and provide end user support for all network related devices, servers, laptops, and PCs.
Specific duties:
Install, configure, and administrate network related infrastructure, devices and software necessary to support Chamber’s critical business functions
Install, configure, and administrate switches, routers, servers, PCs, laptops, printers, cabling, and other devices connected to Chamber’s network
Assist in the maintenance, management, and updates of Chamber’s Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment
Assist with the management and maintenance of Chamber’s Virtual Server Infrastructure
Assist with the management and maintenance of Chamber’s Computer Images
Oversee the management of Chamber’s Active Directory Infrastructure
Utilize network management best practices and tools to investigate and resolve network related performance issues
Acquire and maintain specialized expertise in network operating system software, tools and utilities for integrating technologies from different vendors in a heterogeneous networking environment
Oversee data backup and restore operations for user and stored data directories
Create and maintain detailed documentation of all network related flow charts, devices and circuits
Maintain and test the data replication between the Chamber and the Disaster Recovery site at the Albany data center
Assist in IT Disaster Recovery efforts, testing and documentation
Perform other related duties as required by IT management
