Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree* and one year of specialized experience**.
Substitution: J.D or master’s degree may substitute for one year of the specialized experience**;
OR
An Associate’s Degree* in office administration, secretarial science, administrative assistance, paralegal, business technology, or office technology and three years of specialized experience**.
OR
Five years of specialized experience**.

Duties Description The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Authorities Budget Office; duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• reviewing, preparing, and processing travel and purchase requests for staff;
• tracking ABO correspondence and ABO shared email folder;
• scheduling meetings and managing calendars;
• assisting in preparing and distributing reports issued by the ABO;
• assisting in pulling reports from online system for website posting;
• maintaining an up-to-date inventory of office supplies and equipment for staff;
• use MS Office 365 Word, Excel, and Outlook prepare and maintain documents, spreadsheets and presentations that are used to monitor financial, and program data and narrative information;
• design and maintain electronic and paper office filing systems;
• resolve day-to-day operations problems such as communicating with facilities staff;
• answer and forward phone calls;
• sort and process mail;
• modify and edit documents.
