• Using the skills above would allow new staff to research and resolve account issues.

Duties Description 1. Review collateral documentation received from lenders and update the Debt Management and Collection System.

2. Request Promissory Notes and storage location documentation from lenders/servicers.

3. Review loans eligible for mandatory assignment to the federal government. Process corrections for accounts that fail edits. Prepare files to be sent to the U.S. Department of Education.

4. Maintain, update and correct various spreadsheets, reports and databases.

5. Prepare routine reports or assist others in the preparations of reports, following established guidelines.

6. Perform various clerical or office assistance tasks such as scanning documents and verifying accuracy of data from scanned documents.

7. Receive, screen, review, and verify documents, forms, applications, claims, and other documents for completeness, content, and accuracy.

8. Perform basic monthly reconciliations of General Ledger Accounts. Review monthly reconciliations to follow up on and resolve outstanding issues.

9. As needed and as directed, contact various internal and external parties to obtain information.

10. Enter data and information into and retrieve data and information from computerized systems.

11. Assist in gathering or compiling data for reports, tables, or other products.

12. Process incoming and outgoing mail.

13. Filing, faxing and scanning.

14. Other duties as assigned.
