Minimum Qualifications Teacher 2: SG/13 $46,529 - Current NYS Education Department provisional/initial certification in classroom teaching the appropriate specialty.

Teacher 3: SG/15 $51,986 - Current NYS Education Department permanent/professional certification in classroom teaching the appropriate specialty.

Teacher 4: SG/17 $57,984 Current NYS Education Department permanent/professional certification in classroom teaching in the appropriate specialty with two years of post certification (provisional/initial or permanent/professional) teaching experience in that same specialty.

Duties Description Teachers utilize professional training and experience to plan lessons, curriculums, instruct and evaluate the performance and progress of individuals in an academic area; such subject areas are in fields recognized by the New York State Department of Education. Incumbents of these positions work with diverse groups of individuals that have broad ranges of social and academic backgrounds, interest, physical and/or developmental disabilities, and/or mental illness.

Additional Comments Salary grade 13-17 based on qualifications/experience.
