Minimum Qualifications Permanent transfer candidates: Current Department of Health (DOH) employee with permanent or contingent-permanent status as a Health Program Administrator (G18); OR current NYS employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent, competitive service in a title eligible to transfer under Section 52.6, Section 70.1, or Section 70.4 of the Civil Service Law to a Health Program Administrator (G18), Health Program Administrator Trainee 1 (NS), or Health Program Administrator Trainee 2 (NS). Duties Description The individual in this position will assist the Medicaid Transportation Unit in the Bureau of Health Access, Policy, and Innovation in contract management activities and in RFP development, proposal reviews, and ratings. The individual will support the administration of regional transportation management contracts to ensure contract compliance, assist in auditing, providing technical assistance and guidance to contractor, reviewing submitted data and reports in order to authorize payments, and preparing communications. Additionally, the individual will assist in the development of program policies, procedures and guidance documents; contribute to the development and management of relevant procurements; implement mandated emergency ambulance and rural transit payments, and assist with the re-procurement and redesign of the management contracts.
