Minimum Qualifications Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate must be reachable on the full-time, permanent Civil Service list for Office Assistant 2 (Keyboarding), be eligible to transfer into the title, or have held the permanent title of Office Assistant 2 (Calculations) in the past. To be eligible for a provisional appointment, you must be eligible to take the Office Assistant 2 (Keyboarding) exam the next time it is offered and be reachable for appointment. To be eligible to take the Office Assistant 2 (Keyboarding) exam, candidates must have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in an office assistant, clerical, or keyboarding title

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs, providing information via phone and/or email, experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Duties Description Under supervision of the Associate Director, the OA2 will be responsible for managing all aspects of admissions-related events/visits both on and off campus, including but not limited to, event/visit setup/management in Slate CRM, event-related facility reservations and work-order submissions, event-related communication with campus partners, maintaining event planning checklists, managing/submitting event-related catering requests, managing event-related prep and day-of support, work with Admissions staff members on event-related tasks as needed (tour guides, for example). Additionally, they will support and assist with application processing, phone and email response, data entry, and other activities related to the recruitment and enrollment of new students.

The Office of Admissions is responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of new undergraduate and graduate students. The office values teamwork and is committed to serving students and their families. The office processes applications and associated materials for over 10,000 applicants per year, manages campus recruitment events, and works closely with many other offices on campus to facilitate new students’ transition to campus each semester.
