Minimum Qualifications Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and be able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to independently prioritize workload and adapt to rapidly changing priorities. Dependable, team player with ability to take direction from other team members. Candidate should be familiar with software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite. Must be willing to work early and or late. Must have a valid driver's license.
Duties Description There is currently an opening at SUNY System Administration for a full-time Facility Operations Assistant 1, SG-06. The duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Assist with setting up and breaking down of meetings, events and conferences; moving tables, chairs and equipment as required to desired location.
-Assists with setting up catering
-Install equipment for PowerPoint presentations, sound systems, and other tech for various conferences
-Deliver items to individuals around SUNY building and other locations within New York State.
-Organize equipment and supply storage, tracking usage of items.
-Communicate with other operational team members to ensure tasks are completed.
-Maintain a reliable and professional demeanor at all times.
-Assist with maintaining a clean and sanitary environment as required by building policy.
Additional Comments State Title: Facility Operations Assistant 1, SG-6 (Permanent)
Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
