Minimum Qualifications To be considered for permanent appointment, candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service law.

Duties Description Typical responsibilities may include, but not be limited to the following:

• Develop and administer policy related to incident management and response.

• Oversee traffic incident management and response programs.

• Oversee and support the Department’s Regional Incident Management Committees in conjunction with partner agencies.

• Participate on the Statewide Traffic Incident Management Committee.

• Manage standby towing programs and contracts

• Manage the Department’s point of contact for National Responder Training for Incident Management.

• Support the Statewide Traffic Incident Management Steering Committee.

Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations.
