Minimum Qualifications Open Competitive: High School diploma, or equivalent, and two years of experience in a large-scale recycling operation, and two years of supervisory experience. Experience must include the operation of equipment such as forklifts, large capacity paper shredders, and down-stroke balers. Must have taken and passed a civil service exam to be considered for this position.

Duties Description You will oversee the daily recycling center operations for the area to which you are assigned. You will train and supervise the incarcerated individuals who are under your direction. The areas of training and supervision will include, but are not limited to: material identification, grading, and sorting. In addition to the training and supervision roles, you will be responsible for: scheduling delivery of recyclables, assisting in the formal bidding process, scheduling trucking firms to haul products to market, record keeping, incarcerated individual payroll, as well as miscellaneous projects and duties.
